Common questions from loaners

Is my personal data safe?

Yes. ShackleAI only stores encrypted file chunks from our network. These chunks are meaningless without the encryption keys, which are never shared with loaners. Your personal files are completely untouched.

How much bandwidth does it use?

Very little. The agent only downloads small encrypted chunks (1 MB each) when assigned. Most of the time it just sends a tiny heartbeat signal every 30 seconds.

Can I stop at any time?

Absolutely. Just close the agent. Your stored chunks will be redistributed to other nodes automatically. You can restart anytime to continue earning.

When do I get paid?

Earnings are tracked in real-time on your dashboard. Payouts are processed monthly. You can check your balance at any time via the Loaner Dashboard.

Do I need Python installed?

Yes, Python 3.10+ is required. The installer will check for it and guide you through installing it if needed. It's a one-time 5-minute setup.
